My current flatmate is moving back to Canada due to work relocation, so now looking for a new female-only flatmate to take up her space. Conveniently located in North Point, this place is at Healthy Gardens with 2 minutes walk to tram and bus stations or less than 10 minutes walk to North Point or Quarry Bay MTR station. It is not exactly a new residential community, but that means you are getting a single room larger than most of the rooms you can find out there.
現在的室友因工作調動原因需要搬回加拿大, 所以需要找人接替她的租約. 只限女生. 地點位於北角健威花園, 2分鐘即可步行至電車及巴士站, 或於10分鐘內步行至北角或鰂魚涌地鐵站. 出租單人房比香港一般房間大! 詳情如下:

--THE AIR-CON ROOM COMES WITH 房間內有--

- 1 single bed (1m wide), the double bed you see in the photo now will be replaced by the single bed in that separate photo
- 1 bamboo-floor mat
- 1 Ikea open clothes rack
- 1 bedside table
- 1 bedside trolley, and a built-in single wardrobe
- 2 windows, with one facing the South and you can see the street downstairs, while the other one faces our neighbor but they often have their windows closed.

The space remained after putting all these furniture will probably allow you to play Mahjong! If you want, there's an extra 1.2m-wide working desk available for you. I am currently using it but I plan to switch to a bigger bed, so this table wont fit in anymore. Let me know if you want me to move it to your room.

--THE COMMON AREA INCLUDES 公共區域包括--

- 1 small but good enough kitchen with an oven, 2 stove heads and a fridge (and of course, other cooking utensils, too)
- 1 big bathroom with a washing machine and a LARGE shower area
- 1 dinning area with a 4-people dinning table and a shelf (we once tried fitting 10 people around the table for home parties!)
- 1 living area with shoeshelves and a 32" TV.

The residential area also has a swimming pool which you can see from the dinning room's windows. But to be frank it looks a bit old haha... but anyway. it's there for you to use, too.

--WITHIN 5 MINS WALK, YOU CAN FIND 5分鐘步行距離內有--

- 2 supermarkets (Wellcome and Taste)
- 1 wet market
- SO MANY RESTAURANTS (including dessert place)
- 2 shopping malls
- local stationary and daily utensils stores
- SF Express station
- post office
- clinics... etc.

Basically, you've got everything you need around this area. And I cook (too much) often too, so feel free to join me for dinner!

--WHAT TO PAY 需要支付--

The place is HK$7.8k per month, paid on every 20th, with the need to cover the 2-month deposit which my current flatmate has paid to the landlord when we moved in. Because she is going back to Canada and probably wont come back, so it's better and easier for her to settle all her Hong Kong bills before leaving. Monthly utility bills normally come at around HK$200/per month/head, depends on our usage. Before it got so hot here in Hong Kong, our bills can even go under 100/month/head.

So the first month of rent will be HK$7,800/30 * 20 (because only from 1 - 19th for Sept) + HK$7,800 x 2 (2-month deposit) = 20,800. The 2-month deposit, just as any other apartment renting in Hong Kong, will be returned to you when we leave the house (without any damages).
每個月20日交房租HK$7800/月, 首月因為9月1日起租, 所以付20日的租日即可. 同時因為室友要回加拿大了, 所以需要下一手朋友把當時她已經付過的2個月按金給她 (在搬走時房東會歸還給我們). 也就是$7800/30 * 20 + 7800*2 = HK$20800. 每個月水電媒平分, 如果不是長開冷氣, 一般一個月HK$150-200差不多. 之前沒那麼熱時, 我們一個月的水電媒有時$100不到!

--WHEN AVAILABLE 可入住時間--

My flatmate will leave and clear her stuff latest by 31 Sept. But basically, if you have to move in earlier than 1 Sept, we are happy to talk about it! We are flexible and we understand your possible needs. Just speak!

--WHO YOU WILL BE LIVING WITH 你的室友 (我:))-- I am a 31-year old marketing professional working at one of the Big 4. A backpacker (so yes I travel quite a lot) with a special interest in meditation, spirituality, religion (I am more like a buddhist but not "baptised"), personal growth, self-actualization... etc. Got a psychology master degree and trying to obtain some coaching and therapist license/professional membership, too. Speaks native Cantonese, almost-native Mandarin (be it TW-style or China-style), and excellent English. open-minded and flexible. Oh and I am also a licensed Hong Kong tour guide, and a freelance translator, occasionally a designer, too. 我是在big4做marketing的香港女生, 也是一名freelance翻譯員, 也是香港持牌導遊.
